It's true. This has been one of the best kept secrets on the internet. Over two years ago only a very small handful of name chasers had the magic drop figured out. Today software products abound that claim an inside edge on the names about to drop. Only one little bitty problem. You'll need a room full of computers and a separate internet connection for each to find even a small fraction of the thousands of names dropping each week.
What am I talking about? Oh. I thought that you knew the secrets
of the magic drop. Well I guess that we all still have some secrets.
I'll share that part that you will need to understand to get names
that would have been out of sight literally. The registry system
has two databases. Let's call them the real one and the show one.
The real one has lots of really good information and is not
public. It's hidden from view. The show database also known
as the whois, has some of the information from the real database
and is public. Only problem is that the show database is delayed
in update by about 24 hours after the real database. That only
gives a 24 hour head start to someone wanting the same name that
you have been tracking for months. You may actually never see a
name in the available condition on the whois. It's gone.
The secret is that certain conditions on the whois allow us
and a few others that know, to blindly predict that a name will
drop on a certain day and at a certain hour. The whois will continue
to show a name registered and you can register it at that time.
To really make things wild, all the dropping names are dropped
at the same time of day. Usually about 7:00am EST plus or minus
30 minutes. That's why it's called a drop and not a spread.
As more and more people know about the magic drop, the registry
systems get pounded on the day of the drop and usually slow to
a crawl. This gives others in the area a good chance at a very
good name. It's like catching a foul ball at the baseball game.
Lots of people chasing it only to bounce into the hands of a
little girl on the end of the row. Of course in this game the
little girl would be flattened by 10,000 chasers and buyers.
The only other problem is to know all the names dropping.
That's us. Our list tell you. Because it's a blind calculation,
nobody can claim 100 percent. More like 99.999.
