1. How do I use the Exody(tm) Listings?

A. Each day you'll receive "Soon To Expire" Domain Listings and a Web Link to our databases. Look thru the names and find ones of interest to you. These names will all expire at the same instant of time, usually 6:45am EST six days from the Update indicated. That time could vary depending on when the admin of the "shared Registry" pulls the big switch. Once the "drop" as it is refered to occurs, a mad rush is on to register the top names. That's were we bow out. It would be a conflict of interest for us to register names for our customers. However many ways of doing this are available. With lots of very good names in the mix, anyone has a good chance at them. If you're sure the "drop" has occured, don't waist time on that one name you wanted first. It's long gone. Some name "chasers" have powerful "socket scripts" that litteraly register names within microseconds of the drop. Of course they can't register 1,000's of names instantly and the registration systems very often get gummed up with the rush. I believe that a medium value name can be registered on a less often used registry by anyone.

2. How do I use the Web Databases?

A. The Web Databases are all the working files used in our daily processing. Many are updated continueously. The file extensions describe the data contained in each. The File Dates are very important and should be followed closely.

lst - Source List of Names
get - The Soon to Expire Names with Share Update Dates:

goo - The Oldest Soon to Expire Names with Share Update Dates:
gss - The Remain The Same Newest Soon to Expire Names with Share Update Dates:
no - Not registered and Available (at the time of listing)
upt - Running History of Share Update Date:
lcd - Running History of Registra Creation Dates (* if available)
lxd - Running History of Registra Expiration Dates (* if available)
nsh - Running History of Name Servers (New 12/1/2000)
ns - Name Server Raw Data
see - Name Server Listing with Domains (Name Server with Names)
who - Name Server Count Summary
